So this it what small bets mean from nits, i decide to steal this nits blinds who happens to like re stealing in the blinds and he goes and 3x raise me pre i call he then decides to get fancy which is why i took his stack.

He goes and bets peanuts and i have a draw that misses the turn and by rights i shouldnt call his big bet on the turn but it looked bluffy so i call and hit my flush and crack his set of aces

Its fine to mix it up once in a while i never chase draws but this was an exception and thats his fault for setting traps.

On that note sandtrap i remember one of your 87s or was it 76s that you opened UTG and then done some mad post flop play.

Yes it was the 78s, the mad post flop was going to stop at the turn if I didn't catch (you need to know when to fold)

I do know when to fold you cant play every hand perfectly i called his bet because it looked like a bluff which was what he was trying to make me think, sometimes i bet half pot with air on the flop and pot the turn when i know villain likely has nothing just to get a few cent here and there.

But its still spewy opening UTG with 87s how can you expect to make a profit opening that hand.

Yes and no, that's why you need notes on the players you face AND there's a big difference between 2NL and 100NL

I was just commenting, but since you know better, good luck and hope to see you at 100NL soon

I dont know better otherwise i wouldnt be posting hands or watching vids or reading Artys blog, you just like coming in threads saying i dont need a hud and i dont need notes because im so amazing, theres loads of players using huds and note caddy and you just like to get on your high horse all the time.

You probably didnt mean much by your comment but you go off one in every thread i see, im surprised your head gets through the front door i know everything in each thread i see.

As for this 87s hand i can asure you i wont be chasing draws i wasnt posting the hand for analysis i was just showing how this nit was betting with the flopped nutz as far as im concerned its his own fault he got rivered because i was folding the the river if i never hit anyway it cost me 30c to see the river and it gave me a read on these sort of players you can only learn by seeing how other types of players play there hands, so i basically payed 30c for a read and sucked out at the same time so its win win imo.

So you had notes that told you i can profitably open 87s UTG and call a 3bet OOP with 5 players to act ok .
