Hello,

Welcome to PokerSchoolOnline. Here's a short video about PSO and what it has to offer you. Also check out >>This Page<< for more info.

We're here to help you so please feel free to ask any questions you may have and thank you for being a member of PokerSchoolOnline.

The nuts simply means the best hand possible on any given board.

For example if there is a flop of say: Qd Jd Ts then any AK would be the nuts as it would make a straight ten to ace, which is the best possible. Then say the turn was the 5d then the nuts would be the Ad and any other diamond as that would make the best (or nut) flush which cannot be beaten at that time. Hope this explains it.

Chris

The Nuts, is a hand that cannot be beaten given any given board.

I.e Holding AsAc on a

AdAh7d - board, cannot be beaten, since whatever cars may yet come, and whatever cards others are holding, no-one would be able to make a hand that beats your Quads of Aces (No Str8 flush could be made) ,and therefore you're holding "the nuts"

That's the "stone" or "absolute" nuts.

The nuts, regular, are the best possible hand at the moment and subject to change and beatable. Hence you'll see the oft-lamented phrase...

"I re-raised with the nuts,he/she called and sucked out".

Just realized that you're WRONG..lol
Turn and river is Kd and Qd and he's holding JdTd which gives him a Royal Flush
Therefore board can be beaten and he no longer has the nuts..lol

The Nuts are what locked the wheels on to your wagon and in a old fashion real no limit game when you have an unbeatable hand you could bet everything you own (which is in the wagon, but the wagons a bit big for the table so you just put on the wheel nuts.
