Hello Everyone!

I am a new player and beside learning the poker course, I find it fun to try some other freeroll games.

Yesterday! I moved into the money in PLHE/PLO Freeroll and another one is 8-Game. But then lost everything after game format changed. Like I was playing 7-Card stud, then NLHE, OMaha, then NL-5 Card Draw. It was fun to adapt to every game but then suddendly a game called 8 & HORSE game at level 16 and I couldn't get even the rules of the game and lost everything in Ante & finished tournament at rank 163.

Can you help me know, where can I find a good guide about these games?
(I tried using search feature for PLHE/PLO the search tab in top of this page but it gave me no result)

Regards, GJ

Hi GauravJha,

8-game is made up of mix of the following games: FL 2-7 Triple Draw, FL Hold'em, FL Omaha H/L, FL Razz, FL Stud, FL Stud H/L, NL Hold'em & PL Omaha. It can be a very fun game to play but if there are some variants you don't know it will be tricky. you can find a basic guide here. Also I would suggest watching Ville Wahlbeck's 3 part video series on 8-game that explains a bit about each game, you can find that here. Or you can also search the video archive for more videos on any game type you want to learn more about.

As for the PLHE/PLO I don't believe we have any videos or material specifically on that game type but PLHE plays fairly similar to NLHE in my experience and most of the course material we have focuses on Hold'em. We also have an Omaha course that you can find here as well as many videos on PLO, again just search in the video section and you'll find them (I like Daleroxxu's basics series).

I hope this is some help to you and if you have any more question please don't hesitate to ask.
