Hi I was just wondering if anyone else had come across this whilst playing. I've noticed a few times now I'll be playing in a tournament and a player will join the table (usually with a large stack) and I'll try to find that player but it'll come back with player not found. Not a biggie just thought it was a little strange.

If the player opts to hide from search you won't be able to find them. Some cash game players don't want you to know how many tables they are playing.

Though that is the answer for the dot-com version, be aware that if you use the dot-net version, this feature is disabled. Since you are on the cash side, it is the player opting to hide. I understand that if the player is in a home club, players in that club can locate them. Not sure if that is accurate, perhaps one of our moderators could clear up any misunderstanding on my part.
