Hello,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!

NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.

So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Hi baprejmer!

The first problem that I see is even before the hand begins. Whenever playing a ring table, I ALWAYS wait for the BB to start playing. Paying extra blinds over and over is a huge drain to a player's bankroll.

With 26s, I get 2 limps in front of me (yes, the post counts as a limp). I'd like to muck this trash hand right now, but since the blind was posted, I'll check and hope to see a free flop. If anyone raises, this really bad hand will immediately go into the muck.

The key here is to wait for the BB. By not waiting and paying the blind, 200 chips (1BB) was just thrown away. I work hard for the chips that I get and do not want to just give them away to the opponents.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Hi baprejmer,

Hand# 102509440946
I would raise villain's donk bet larger to get him to commit with his TP 9x hand and draws before scared cards come that would shut him down.
The flop has 0.18$ and we have an effective stack on 0.62$ which gives us an SPR (stack-to-pot-ratio) of < 4; I am willing to commit here with an overpair given that we did not get 3bet preflop.
The turn is a bad card for us for two reasons:
1) We lose to Ax
2) If he had 9x, 6x this card can scare him off
I think checking back the turn with the intention of calling a bet OTR on blanks will keep hands that we beat in his range.

Hand# 102510493797
Yes, folding preflop is the correct play.
Our hand does not play well multi-way and we have an open from UTG which means they will have a strong range.
As played, there’s not much to say with your stack size; you got your money in good

By the way, I notice you do not play with a full stack. I would encourage you to use the auto top-up feature to have 100bbs at all times – You will get more money with your monsters and poker will be more interesting to learn

GL at the tables!

Fantastic!

Your second Bankroll Builder bonus is on it's way to you, great job so far.

Watch this video that will help you on the cash game tables

There are three ways in which you can earn your next bonus.

1) Earn 10 VPPs AFTER receiving your 2nd bonus and you will automatically be credited with your 3rd bonus. Let us know if you hit that target
2) If you lose your 2nd bonus at the tables please post the hands where you lost the money with here in this thread. As soon as you post the losing hands we will advise on the next step.
3) If you make a first deposit at PokerStars you will automatically be awarded your remaining bonuses from the Bankroll Builder promotion.

Best of luck to you at the tables and we are here to help you should you have any questions.

Also i have a question.I want to know how to deal with Poker Tilt.both times when i lost my money i was really "emotional " because of loosing a hand before and i really felt like it was taking over me and my rational thinking of the game. The only solution i thought of was stop playing for a while and then come back, but i want to hear more please.thank you

Hi baprejmer,

Hand#1: KK hand, that's the best we can hope for for our opponent to put in their money bad. That's where our decision ends! Whatever comes after, is all on luck! We got it in 80% favorite but got unlucky. The way I see it is that they will win 20 times out of a 100 but the rest we will be scooping the pot. So really don't worry about it, even though these things hurt we have to live with them because that's the nature of the game!

Hand#2: with QQ on K high flop, I think we can take a check/call line because when we bet it will be hard for our opponent to call with worse and when we check we give them the chance to bluff at the pot. We are either way ahead here or way behind. And we only need to worry about three aces to get outdrawn on. So I would check and call a bet. If they check, I can bet a non Ace turn. If they bet and we call, and they bet OTT it would be a judgmental call but when we do call I think it would be hard for them to bluff the river.

Hand#3: I don't like limping into the pot. With KK I really want to build the pot and thin the number of players that see a flop with bad holdings. Other than that, I think we got value from a really bad played AK.
