Hi mahmoud3737,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!
NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.
Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basics Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.
So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Hi HokyPokyToo

Thank you for replying to my request.

Unfortunately I cant see the videos.I can't see anything in the place you put videos but an empty place. My flash player is active and I have silverlight(in case the videos work with that) and I can watch other videos at pokerschool too like those which are in liberary section.

Is there any software which is needed for watching these videos?

Yes I can and I can also watch videos in this website(I mean pokerschoolonline).for example those videos which are on liberary or live training,...but the problem is that there is nothing in the place you've uploaded videos but a big blank which is supposed to be videos obviously.anyway I searched the videos at pokerschoolonline website but I couldnt find them.

please give me the link of videos if it is possible.

Thank you.I got to watch those videos and I will post a hand as soon as possible.

Just one more thing.I've already passed the quiz called"poker assessment".Is this the quiz you've mentioned in your post(step 3) or there are other things?

I think I understood by myself. There is a quiz at the end of each lesson. Is that right?

This is the hand I've played recently. As you see someone raises and I call(ofcourse other players call as well). But my question is when I raise after the flop and all the players call me down how can I recognize which player has what type of hands.and my second question is that Is my last call when someone raises right because I thought the amount of raise he did was too small and he might not have had hand better than me.

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.
He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Cheers.

Hi mahmoud3737! I'll analyse the hand in post #11.

I think you played this very well. Pre-flop, there's a limp and a raise, and with TT on the button I think the best play is to call. You often have the best hand, but if you re-raise then worse hands will usually fold and you'll only get action from hands that are beating you or have a good chance to outflop your hand.
It's 5-handed on the flop which comes 954. This is a good flop for you as you have an overpair and you can get value from worse pairs and draws. When it's checked to you, betting 36 into 50 is a good value bet. Three players call and the turn is an ace. This is a bad card for you, because it means that anyone with an ace took the lead. Another problem with this card is that if you decided to bet, then anyone with a worse hand than yours will fold, because that ace scares them, so you won't get any value. Since you can't get called by worse, checking on the turn is the right play. The 9 on the river isn't a great card either. Since the flop was 9-high and you got called in 3 spots, it's very possible that someone had top pair, and now they made trips on the river. Villain_3 makes a tiny bet here, and I don't think you can raise it up for value, because he probably has you beat. When villains lead out on the river after calling on previous streets, it usually means the river improved their hand. Fortunately, the small bet means you can definitely call to see a showdown. A bigger bet would have made things trickier for you. Villain shows Q9, so he made trips on the river. You were quite unlucky here, as you were ahead until the final card, and you made good bets with the best hand. You lost the minimum when villain gave you a bargain price to see the showdown. Nice hand!

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Arty

Thank you ArtySmokesPS for your analyze. It is helpful because I thought like you when I played that hand then i'm a pro but frankly I tried to play as I had read on basic course.

HokyPokyToo,I've done 3 steps and now I'm eager to show my prowess in real money with my bonus

When can I gain the bonus?

Excellent!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.
Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!
