OK, So further to my KK 4 bet hand the other day I found my self in this spot.

After making the standard open I was 3 bet by a Loose player in the Cut Off, obviously I 4bet my Aces, but not to high as to make him fold and induce calling and betting errors from the villain, he called. And the board was dripping wet, so to get some value from draws I cbet my aces, the flop comes and makes the board even wetter [I think maybe this is where I made a poor decision]

Should I have shut down after the turn because the board was so wet?

Obviously the river made it even worse, but I was steaming at this point and in to deep I feel so I just shoved the remaining 36 BB, he could have had JJ or QQ I suppose, but he would have probably 5bet with QQ pre, and at least raised flop or turn with JJ?

Thoughts and advice please.

Hi Mick,

While 51 hands of data is a small sample size, the villain has been playing pretty loose/fishy at 36/16. Personally I think we should be betting larger on the flop for value and to set up stacks on the turn. As you note the flop is wet and a loose/bad villain has a lot of worse hands that will give action here, including draws and worse 1 pairs. He probably doesn't care much about the price either as long as we don't over do it.

If we size the flop c-bet to about 22bb (~75% of the pot seems about right to me here), and he calls, that will put 73.5bbs in the pot, and we'll have 64bbs behind to bet which is a nice amount to shove turn both for value and protection.
