Hello,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!

NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.

So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

I've watched the video and passed the basic course.
I played this hand in play money which i could won a big pot. with suited A3 I raised n called the re-raised. I was hoping the flush as flop hit two diamonds. I just think maybe i should raise a big pot on flop but not on turn in this condition?

Hi,

Hand Analysis

On this depth of big blinds and playing at a short hand table this hand is very playable! Although keep in mind that we are mainly playing this hand for a flush and taking a more conservative line if we make top pair due to kicker issues. We will flop a flush draw about 17% of the time with just about any two card flush combos, so it's best to try and keep the pot semi small or rather not inflate to where we have to risk an arm and leg on later streets.

Post flop, the flop and turn texture really hits a 3bet pot range super hard AT KTs AQ KQs 99 TT QQ JJ KK AA, when there is a bet and a call ahead of us on the flop and turn..usually what would be calling in this situation will definitely call a raise especially since one of the villains is pot committed, I would have elected to just flat call because the real value is to be made from the villain sitting with 6k chips that has us covered..we want to keep their range in the pot and not fold out all weaker draws or with crossed fingers hoping they have a weaker flush draw. Nice pot and nice hand!

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Hi,

Hand Analaysis

We are sitting on a 70bb stack depth and will be in position post flop, I like the flat call as to not inflate the pot, plus these type of suited aces play better multi- way due to potential pot odds. although keep in mind there will be times where we could be out kicked by a better ace, so proceed with caution.

Post flop, we could credibly represent a range of 9x or TT to JJ that decided to flat call, did you have any specific reads on this villain? If we are going to bluff at this flop I'd elect to bet 2/3 pot size to make it look like we are trying to price out all possible draws, betting any amount smaller than 2/3 pot induces light floats and in some cases a better range of Ax. On the turn your bet sizing is fine, it's appears to be for value although..to make it look much more convincing I would have made a sizing of about 1/2 pot..this will help to not inflate the pot so much while not risking a chunk our stack. Nice bluff and well timed!

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee
