Not a huge fan of Turbo's but it seems I better get used to them as most of the WCOOP satellites seem to be turbo with re-buys,
Am trying to figure out the difference between 2 x -Turbo and 3 x Turbo HELP please...and thanks

Hi Ron,

The 2 x or 3 x refers to the rebuy period. It doesn't, as most people think, mean that the structure is faster in any way, the blind levels are the same in both. In a 2 x the rebuy period will be 60 mins, in the 3 x the rebuy period lasts for 90 mins.

Hope this helps

Chris

Thanks Chris

I see why there us confusion now, it is in the placing of the brackets [ 2 x Turbo ] why not put the or 3 x in brackets with the re-buy info [ 2 x - rebuy ]

I also noticed starting stacks change as well from Normal Turbo= 1K 2X = 2K and 3x = 3k starting stacks.

It is somewhat confusing but it's a difficult thing to represent in a tournament title. As if the 3x was in brackets some might think it is limited to 3 rebuys or something. Maybe one day someone will come up with a better way to represent it.
