Hi,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!
NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.
Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basics Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.
So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Hi,

Hand Analysis

Yes that was a very good fold. We are sitting on a 40bb stack with a positional advantage post flop, but given the nature of this being a family pot (multiple players) and this middling board texture..in the grand scope of things, there are several combinations of hands that hit this board texture. When there is a bet and a call ahead of us, even though we are getting decent pot odds to peel one of our 6 outs, we are barely breaking even on the call given our overall equity in the pot, plus the stack to pot ratio would be set up on the turn and we would find our self in an awkward situation if we bricked or hit a jack as they may have given a villain a straight or two pair combo.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Excellent!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.
Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

1) Was this a good call i made?????

2) 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet are:

- To put a lot of pressure on opponents,
- To gain value from monster hands,
- To protect against strong draws.

3) I passed the Cash Game quiz.

Hi,

Hand Analysis

I understand that sometimes a full table will break up and become short handed, but please only play at a full table of 9 players as your training is focused primarily on that.

Let's start with preflop, 6x the big blind for an open raise sizing is to big and will generate more folds than calls, this hand should be consider the top of our range as it's a premium holding. Plus, our stack depth is semi shallow. I would have raised 3x the big blind as I want a wide range of holdings to call and see a flop, that is were the most money will be made.

When the villain re-raises to put us all in, we have to go with the hand, very rarely is a player going to play pocket kings or aces this way and we will be ahead of most of their range. In this situation they had AK, which would mean that we are on the good side of a rough coinflip 50/50 odds, but we could easily have the villain dominated..their holdings could include JJ TT 99 ATs AJs AQs. Unfortunate out come to the hand, do not be discouraged by this loss, you did the correct thing by calling.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Hi,

Your third Bank Roll Builder bonus will be automatically credited to your account when you have accrued 10VPPs. Please note, any VPPs that were earned prior to the release of your second do not count, only VPPs earned with the second bonus count towards the release of the third bonus.

Hi,

Yes. Your Bank Roll Builder training is focused primarily on that buy-in level, also please take note, ONLY play at a full table of 0.01/0.02c 9-Max No Limit Hold'em as your training is focused on that format.

Fantastic!

Your thrid Bankroll Builder bonus is on it's way to you, great job so far.
