Just started using pokerstars, live in USA so can't play for real money. I've been looking for a coach and think your pokerstars school is great. I still getting use to the actual poker sight and and have couple of basic questions. The time that they give to decide how I will bet seems very short. I'm trying to fiqure card and pot odds and it appears to only give you less that 10 seconds... i've looked for something that would give me more time, but can't find anywhere to extend it. Also I can't find where I can get any type of hand history. I'm thinking its be cause I'm only playing for play money and no available.

any feedback is appreciated...

Hi riverrat6636,

Welcome to PokerSchoolOnline!

First, sorry there is no time bank in play money games. PokerStars does not save play money hands, but you can save your hands to your hard drive. From the main lobby header menu select "Options" > "Instant Hand History Options" to set up where you would like your hand histories to be saved. Hope this helps.

Here is a link to help familiarize you with all the features and services available at PSO. Feel free to look around the forum
and post any comments or questions you may have.

You are invited to join the PokerSchoolOnline Community Home Games Club, and information on how to join the club

The old hedgehog is American and feels your pain. The site recently reduced the time bank from 60 seconds to 5 seconds. I too admit making the math calculations a bit difficult in the time given. I've gone to a basic strategy that uses hand groups instead. I'm sure it isn't the best option, but until I can get back to the dot-com version, I cannot come up with those numbers within the given time limit.

As others have said, there are many places on this site for good lessons, including live classes. Take them to heart and use the information. You'll find playing chip action far looser than cash, so adjust your attitude. I play a serious game, but I have a lot of dents in my desk from idiots that call with trash and hit. Keep playing a proper game and you'll see positive results.
