some software failure on the servers prevented most people to register to the latest open skill league game.

what is going to happen about that? are the lucky 198 players that managed to register going to get their points?

Hi Tweedle,

Unfortunately we have no control over the technical promlems PokerStars has been having lately and can only appolgise to those that have missed out on League games as a result. If there was a game with 198 entrants then they will recieve points based on the same calcualtion used for all games. In this case ITM would be 36 instead of the usual 1440 for a full tournament. While one or two may have recieved some small advantage by playing in this game it should not affect the overall results by very much, if any as the League is a month long and requires many games and is an average of sorts of all games played.

Hopefully there will be no more problems and everyone will once again be able to play. Good luck at the tables

Cheers,

Chris

I tried to report this to Pokerstars support but they were uncharacteristically dense and unhelpful.
But as you say probably only 36 players or so received positive points in this game so few got an advantage.

My main annoyance is that I suspect these 198 that managed to registers are players that use scripts to register.
