Hi PreetamA,

I'd try out a few play money games, then a few freerolls to get a feel for the software. Although the odds etc are just the same, you will see far many more hands (3x as much) as you do in a live game.

Limit draw games can be found under the "Other" tab. Not sure if there's any on play money as I've play money games hidden.

I can't really help you on the deposit bonus but remember, any deposit bonus is there to reward the site as much as you so make sure you concentrate on playing winning poker first and treat any bonuses cleared as an extra. Most if not all bonuses are awarded by generating VPP points. The more you play and the higher stakes you play, the more VPPs you will earn.

I like limit games and I'd like to learn more about 5 card draw. If you want to discuss hands or strategy then I'm will to listen and swop idea's

Hi PreetamA!

A moderator will be along shortly to give you some help with your queries. Assuming you're not in the US, you will be eligible for a real money account. There are several promotions and offers for first-time depositors, so it pays to study them all and find out which offers the best value. Personally, I would try the Bankroll Builder promotion, as this can mean you make some money without depositing at all. You can always get a bonus on your money when you finally deposit and earn some VPPs.

PSO has much to offer, so have fun on the forum and feel free to ask further questions.

Cheers,
Arty

As Arty has mentioned there are various promotions from PSO and PokerStars. If you're planning to deposit using the stars600 promotion, when you deposit you put in that code and then you will recieve up to a 100% bonus of the amount you deposited (maximum of $600) which you recieve in $10 increments as you earn VPPs (click the link to learn more about VPPs). So in your $100 example you will recieve $10 every time you earn 200 VPPs until you have recieved $100 total, so 10 increments. If you have any more questions about this or any other deposit bonus feel free to contact support@pokerstars.com.

You may find online poker a different animal to live poker, there are many differences such as the pace of games and the fact you get no live tells so it's more based on other tells. However as a profitable player you shouldn't have too much trouble adjusting and of course the things you leanr here at PSO will help you. As for not being tech savvy, that shouldn't be much of a problem as the client is designed to be easy to use. Why not try some play money games or freerolls to get used to the software and how things work? That way you don't risk your money while you get used to things.

These come under the 'Other' tab in the client. There you will find 5-card draw, 2-7 triple draw and 2-7 single draw cash games. Also in the 'Sit & Go' tab if you scroll down you will find these games also. And in the 'Tourney' tab you can search or just look through for any draw MTTs.

We're here to help you so please feel free to ask any questions you may have and thank you for being a member of PokerSchoolOnline.

Also you're invited to join our Home Games club which you can find details of how to join here.
