Hello suppyx,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!

NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.

So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Hi suppyx,

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

You can the language of the poker software at the Language menu near the top of the main screen. PokerSchoolOnline web site is in English but if you tell me what languages you understand I will advise if we have an associated site in one of those languages.

Cheers!

A6s is not strong enough to raise preflop here. It would be better to check behind and hope to flop a flush draw. If you are going to raise, stick to the standard 3bb plus 1 bb for each limper. Raising all in is not good. Firstly, you are risking your entire stack for 5 chips in the pot. The risk is not worth the reward. Secondly, by moving all in you create a situation where you value own yourself.

All the hands you are beating will fold. This means you win less than you could have. Whereas, only hands beating you will call. This means you will lose more than you needed to over time. Here you get called by QQ and AQ. Both of these hands are crushing your A6. Against either one, you will win about 1 in 3 times. Against both you only have 16% equity. I put the villains on a range of pocket pairs 88+ and A10+. Against this range for both villains you are winning less than 1 in 5 tries.

Work on being patient. You should be looking for postflop situations where you have a set or better before wanting to get all in. Stacks are too deep in cash games to move all in preflop with a hand like A6s.

GL and have fun at the tables!

Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Hi suppyx,

I will be your Hand Analyzer for this post

Here I think calling with KQo against an open raise from UTG is kind of a loose call because against an UTG open raise our hand will be dominated often when we do flop TP type of hand. I think we can turn our hand into a bluff with our blockers and 3bet preflop and fold to a reraise. But given our stack size I would prefer just folding preflop.

So now that you call and hit TP we are definitely going to call one street and reevaluate the turn. I don't like raising the flop however because we lose to AA, KK, JJ, AK, KJ and by raising we fold out worse Kx, Jx hands. The only hand that can call is probably an AdQd in which case they made a better hand OTT to which I think we should be checking back really and trying to control the size of the pot. When we bet the turn we are kind of turning our hand into a bluff.
