Hello one and all.

I should be cashing in my first ever Weekly Round 2 tournament, which is cool because this is the first one I've ever entered! I have 5 tickets, but I have never had the time to play one!

I'm currently sitting in 19th out of 1242 in tournament 787737166, so fingers crossed and no mistakes!

Let's see if I can't bink this!

I hate to say it.. but due to all the chips already in the pot, the opp WAS priced into the hand. They only had 30.7% pot equity and their hand against even a tighter range of 10% is worth 35.1%.. so it was a +EV play for them to be all-in.

Out in 193!
Good for $1.00. But $1.00 out of nothing at all is good by me!

In terms of the actual tournament there were some terrible plays by me, and a fair bit of bad luck, so the good situation I was in was ultimately wasted.

But, happy to cash in my first MTT of the challenge!

Glad to hear you booked a cash. Roslyn_akka was in that tourney too. She's doing a similar challenge to you, and is proving that it's possible to build a roll playing freerolls.

Just binked 7th place in a 45man $0.25 SNG for 40.36.

Up to $1.11!!

I actually feel like I played the whole thing without any mistakes, which is very pleasing. But, what do I know...

Just found out I got a Big Band stamp on my latest blog post. Whoever stuck that on it, thanks very much indeed!

Just got 6th place in the PSO Knockout Festival. I used my ticket and my whole $1.10 bankroll (!!!!!!!!!!) to enter, but it paid off.
$2.24 for the cash, as well as 2 bounties. I had a little successful flutter on the $0.25 SNGs, so I'm now up to a life changing $2.85!

$2.85 is a lot harder to lose than $1.00 (hopefully!)

As a silver star you can buy a daily Chrome Star freeroll ticket in the Store.

Big numbers but easy to cash, just rock up and double up when you get a chance - and don't rebuy.

I'm delighted to have hit $6.36 now.

I'm really getting a feel for the 45man $0.25 SNGs now, and I'm finding I have increased my shoving range and improved my timing.
I might talk about this in my next blog - how a better look at shoving in the later stages has improved my form.

But yea, feeling good!

It was great to rail you for a bit. You outlasted all the PSO team members that were playing, and most of my other buddies too. Well done, sir! Nice addition to the bankroll. I told you that blogging was worthwhile.

Up to $30.62!

I took advantage of the free SNG tickets for completing the SNG quiz, and I also entered a couple of others as well, and cashed in 3 out of 4 of them.

Need to take this opportunity to slow down and really think about what the best way to continue would be in terms of bankroll management as I have a nice little cushion.

What do we think, 0.25 SNGs still?
