the opener plays 12/9 over 37 hands
I think his range contains sets, if he's passive enough not toraise them otf, flushes and QQ, maybe some AQ, gutshots or oesd that he decided to bluff but I'm not sure he would call them otf. So if I call here I'm targeting his bluffing range only. Is my fold correct?

Not sure but i think this guy would raise a set on the flop, he could have AJ and AThh as well i think im not sure what he would call a 3bet with but he might call wider if he thinks the BU will come along.

Anyway he could have turned a set of QQ as well and might jam when you checked because you could have a heart, i dont know if he can shove any draws like JJ with a heart i cant see him having an off suit ace with the A being a heart, i think this is a fold i would anyway.

Then again if he did have a nut flush why would he shove it in unless you knew he done it with draws and would call off light.

Hi pray,

I too would generally expect flopped sets to raise right there. If he slow played for some reason, he's going to get me, because I will be making an all in wager on the turn, expecting to get called by many worse hands, things like AQ, KQ, QJ, JJ/TT/99/88 with a heart, 66 with a heart. We've only got 60% of the pot left to bet as the pot is huge now... I might check/call vs. an aggressive positional player, but we don't have such a read. So I prefer betting. We will even sometimes get called off by JJ with no heart because the Q looks like a good card for us to bet, or AK that turned the nut flush draw and would take a free card when checked to but calls off to a bet.

So i got most of my read right and i should also be willing to get it in there then, yeah and i missed the AK with a Ah, thats pretty bad to miss that one. If you bet Dave how much are you going for half of your stack and calling a shove or are you just jamming.

With that range you expect villain to call with or come over the top with what sort of range would you stack off with there the Ah and 6h and sets?

I think because i would call with alot less than what your saying there i tend to find a fold more than i should be, luckily enough i don't get these spots to often but thats probably because im not putting in alot of hands at the mo.
