Well played, CO could play AK/AQ/(99) the same way or even have a lot of a wider range including some more Aces up or even 55 as we know nothing about his preflop tendencies.

Personally I'd 4-bet preflop to isolate the 3-bettor as I don't want to be playing QQ in a sandwich position vs 2 deeper stacked unknowns.
