Are you listening a song while playing online poker,.. for instance in (MTT)?
What genre or specific song do you listen?

Well, i always play the Led Zeppelin song "Kashmir" and Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" every time i play the MTT freerolls. It makes me relax and calm

I hate music. I therefore don't listen to it when playing.

I'll often have Comedy Central or football on in the background. I don't want to be relaxed, I want to be on edge, or alert more correctly.

I used to listen a whole bunch of music, all of the classic rock bands and some new pop, house songs.
But like bhoylegend mentions, it is hard to concentrate in making a tough decision when someone is giving the guitar solo of his life on your ears.
I still occasionally listen to songs when playing though, it helps me un-tilt rather easily, Led Zeppelin are one of my favorite choices.

I listen to this set almost everytime I start a MTT that could last 4 hours or more.
DJ Darwish live set - 3 hours and 44 minutes full set, it has an unbelievable positive effect on my Deepstack MTT game.

You don't know what you are missing until you give it a listen.

Works for me anyway.

I have a poker music list on iTunes and my ipod. It's a total mix of music. country, classic rock, jazz, reggae... no rap, no hip-hop... can't stand that stuff.

Depends on what mood I'm in or the time of day. Sometimes I will be watching NFL, basketball or TV in general. If not I will listen to music like pop, R&B, Punk rock/rock, dubstep, heavy metal and hip hop. Skrillex is my fav can't get tired of those songs

I love having music on in the background when playing, seems strange when I don't actually. As for genre it depends on my mood really. Most often I listen to some electro-house which keeps me nice and upbeat or some rock like 30 Seconds to Mars or Foo Fighters. Or if I'm in a crushing mood I might stick on some dubstep or a bit of metal (Darkest Hour are a particular favourite). I've even been know to put some classical on if I'm in a more chilled mood. Anything really as long as it keeps me in a good mood.

Depends on my mood, but it's usually a mix of death/black/doom metal. Really gets you going.

If I'm playing a long haul MTT I might. Bit of classic rock or techno. Or on occasion, the highly esteemed Goon Show! Always a good chuckle. Also anti-tilting, too.
