everytime i get the silverstar bad things start to happen
& i dont care about the buy in or the prize honestly im trying to get a ticket to Battle of planets but then these things keep happening just check this out.. this is 1 out of 100 these days
people keep playing weird hands & make weird moves but win

Hi mj4tw!

The problem here is with the betting. The preflop raise is way too small. A standard raise is to 3X the previous bet (up to a pot-sized raise if that amount is larger). By betting less, the opp gets the correct odds to see the flop... then like many players out there, won't ever fold a pair.

The key here is to bet more preflop.

ty for the answer it is true the 3bet was small
but honestly i dont think he would fold the hand unless i was going to shove preflop
& its not just this
people callin their stack with 98 or Q8 something againts my AKs AQs & win [ & its not like they are short & commited to the pot ]
i remember a hand early stage of the tournament when i 3-bet the guy with KK he shoved with 89o
& he got flush with his 9
where is justice

If they get the right odds to be in the hand.... they should be.

Also, every hand is going to lose a given % of the time.
