Was my move a good one?
I just thought my hand was obvious when i went all-in that's why others folded quickly..

Fold pre. You have 8bb.

If we were 20bb deep you could consider calling but putting in a 1/4 of your stack with 78o is a bad proposition.

Given we did call pre shoving flop is fine.

I agree with the others - the preflop play is pretty bad - gotta muck 78 there with your short stack size. The second best option is to shove all in where you at least have some fold equity.

On the flop I think the shove is correct - you could be shoving that spot with all sorts of two pair hands, draws - they can't just put you on the nuts.

Hi optimus8778!

With 78o in the BB, I have a very short stack of 8BB. When I get below 10BB, I have two options... shove or fold. I cannot do anything in-between and I cannot try to play speculative hands without shoving as I cannot afford to leak off chips.

Due to this, I need to fold this hand preflop. It's not strong enough to shove with and I cannot call any lower bets without leaking off chips.

If I did see the flop (which I would not), I absolutely need to shove. A standard value bet for 3 opps in the pot is 3/4 pot and I don't have that many chips, so I need to shove.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
