Frankly I don't get why other online sites are able to collaberte with casino's and recieve a license in New Jersey ,while Poker Stars Known worldwide and has a proven track rec ord keeps getting put on the back burner

Here's a quote published from "Poker News
According to a high-level source with alleged links to the owners of Resorts Casino Hotel, the casino and their partners PokerStars will be the only applicants not to receive a transitional waiver to launch online poker on November 26th."

I think there are a couple of reasons for it, although I havent followed the story very closely, just here and there.

#1, Pokerstars are huge, anything they turn their hands to is likely to be succesful, possibly to the point of monopolising. Not sure how likely that is in the likes of New Jersey.

#2, While I personally like the fact that they stayed in the market long after the likes of Party Poker had ditched it, politicians and regulators probably want to be seen to be taking some sort of action against Pokerstars whether it be overt or a more passive aggressive approach to things by holding back on approval.

Pokerstars will be back in the market eventually I hope.

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
