Hi,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!
NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.
Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basics Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.
So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Hi pantoworld,

Please post a hand replay of a hand/pot that you were involved so that I can analyze it and give some tips prior to giving you the first bonus.

Hi,

Hand Analysis

We are sitting with a really deep stack depth of nearly 200bb and dealt a hand that should be considered thetop of our value range. The best way to help maximize our value with this hand is to enter the pot for the standard amount of 3x the big blind, this will help to ensure a pot is built, it'll thin the amoutn of players involved in the pot which increases the overall equity/hand strength of our hand and value is made form weaker holdings. Limping pre-flop leaves us vulnerable to playing a multiway pot with the risk of ruin having 3 villain limp behind us which would mean they'll have a positional advantage post flop.

Post flop, a good rule of thumb when electing to bet for value or a bluff, is to make a sizing of 2/3 to 3/4 pot size, I wo9uld have bet 3/4 pot size in this scenario on all three streets (flop, turn and river) the villains do have a deep stack and we want to somewhat build the stack to pot ratio.. There are many hands that can call us, inferior Jx, high card combos and flush combos. There is no need to worry about folding out worse hands as the villains stack depth does have multi-street float potential. I do believe you could have gotten more value with this hand by adjusting your open raise sizings and bet sizings post flop.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Excellent!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.
Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Since you played 2/5c NLHE, post an interesting hand using the hand replayer, I'll analyze it for you. Keep in mind that if you are to play anything other than 1/2c 9Max NLHE after recieving your next bonus, it may make you ineligible for this promotion. Please just focus on 1/2c 9Max NLHE as your training is focused primarily on this format.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Hi,

Hand Analysis

Sitting on about a 50bb stack depth we can certainly enter the pot for a raise for the standard amount of 3x the big blind as this will help to ensure a pot is built and it will help to thin the amount of players involved in the pot...which will greatly improve our equity share and make our decisions much easier post flop. All of the villains folded behind us, it's good to take not of this as they could be playing a TAG stlye of poker.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee
