Hi,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!
NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.
Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basics Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.
So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Hi,

Hand Analysis

I noticed that you posted your big blind out of turn, please avoid doing this as it will prove to be costly towards your overall profit in the long run. Sitting on a 100bb stack depth I wouldn't want to be risking so much pre-flop with an unmade hand, especially 100bb! There are going to be several hands that have us outkicked or dominated AQ KQ QQ KK AA JJ and with several villains left to act behind us it increases the likelihood of them being dealt one of the above mentioned hands.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Excellent!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.
Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game Course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks completed and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Hi,

Hand Analysis

When the action folds around to us we can open the pot for a raise, although keep in mind that the villain in the big blind has a good reshove stack sitting with 10bb, raise folding could be fine and callin as well.

Sitting on just over a 50bb stack depth we can certainly enter the pot. But given the reads you had on the villain, "they were loose now they are tight", maybe they've adjusted to the table dynamic and wont do things to out of hand. Given our position at the table and hand strength versus villain7's overall range we wont be in to bad of shape and our hand has decent playability for a straight, flush and decent top pairs.

Post flop, we have to discount all of our outs that are of the diamond suit, as it could give the villain a flush, so looking at our equity share it's close to mediocre and could put us into a dilemma on later streets, I may float one street to re-evaluate my course of action or fold to save bets...both have merit however always proceed with caution. On the turn we have very thin showdown value verus inferior high card combos, checking back is the optimal line as there we have just over a pot sized bet remaining. On the river, it's now four to a flush and we have no blockers to the flush and the villain has checked two streets, indicating they have a pair with no diamond that want to get to showdown or they are checking to induce our stabbing range on the river, without specific reads I wouldn't be bluffing this river...however with reads and a deeper stack depth I strongly consider bluffing as there could potentially be some dead money in the pot.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee
