Hi gramzon1337,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!
NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After wacthing this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basics Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.
So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Player went all in with his 1k buy in and after the next 2 players folded it was up to me with 3d 4d.
I had a feeling that it would be a coin toss if I called but I decided to call anyway hoping to get the better end of it. However the next player after me who was the chip leader at the table also called and then I thought I was in trouble.
But when the flop came 3h 3c Qc I was starting to feel really good about it.
Since i only had 1k left and felt that the flop was a bust for the other player I decided to wait until the river to go all in hoping that he would hit a pair or think i was trying to steal the pot and call me. I checked the turn which came Ad and then went all in on the river which was 2s. The other player quickly called with As 5d. The player who went all in first had Ah Ks so they both made a pair of Aces but fortunately for me my gamble paid off and I won with trips.

I limped in to see if the flop helps and surely it did. On the flop i made a minimum bet just to see if anyone gives up their AJ. When no one raised I was confident on the turn I had the best hand.
When the river hit I knew he was probably waiting for it but I was still liking my chances as i had 9s and knew he needs Qs or Ts to take it so I called him.
Unfortunately for me he had the Qs.

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.
He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Cheers

Hi gramzon1337,

I will be your Hand Analyzer

Hand#1: 43s is a fold for me I am not calling a shove with this hand; Against any random hand, 43s has 40% equity certainly you can guess how poorly we will stand against hands like medium pocket pairs+ and AJ+

Hand#2: Another fold preflop. Limping is generally not a profitable line to take. I would rather fold or raise a hand. 94s is really a trashy hand that would just go to the muck almost all the time for me. You can see why by looking at the result of this hand even when we do make a flush, it will seldom be good by showdown. I advise you to take another look at starting hands to build a solid ground for profitable poker.

GL at the tables!

Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!
