I'm playing lowest micro stakes cash, sng and free rolls...
I wanna make it to 100 this month. been playing for 12 days and got 50 vpp with so much struggle ups and downas especially in cash games so now I'm even, not losing yet
seem like fastest way is in the cash games...
if you have any suggestion for a safest way to get 50vpp in 10 days please advise

At the lowest stakes cash is probably by far the fastest way to earn VPP's and FPP's but it might be tough to win or even break even when you are starting out. Anyway I would suggest working on your game and exercising good bankroll management which ever way you go.

Just forget about the VPPs and concentrate on your game imo but slower STTs have slightly higher rake, therefore have higher VPPs. In a £1.50, you get just over 1VPP/game. A slower structure is better for a more skilled game so less bingo and gambling.

the safest way to make 50vpp's is to play the game you are best at.

unfortunately don't quite recognize what suit me the most
but going on ok in cash 6max and full ring... zoom is out of the question played it once on some other site and it was roller-coaster and eventually I went tilting and lost all, but then I was even less of player than now... will give it a try someday

Why are these 50 points so important to you?

You are playing scared and risking far more than 50 points are worth by playing outside your comfort zone.

I set my self a goal to make 100vpp this month to achieve chrome status... kinda thing on moving forward... if I don't do that I am not sure why am I playing... I'm really new to real money games and don't expect to earn money so up a status will mean a lot for me... of course next month is 150vpp to be able for all training videos and stuff... and 10 days before christmas... after that can;t really find time to play so much

it is fools gold

concentrate on becoming a winning player at the micro stakes, then increase volume......the status increase will then come easy but don't go chasing.

Best thing I've read all night.

Pokerstars charge a rake in every hand or STT and why they exist. They offer a service which we are all grateful of but the bottom line is we pay for the site by generating rake for them.

Stars offer a generous VIP program which gives yo a small proportion of that rake back for staying loyal to the site and playing more.

It hooks players in however. Bottom line is your bottom dollar, worry about improving your game first and foremost and the VPPs will look after themselves.

As a footnote, I've seen Platinum Stars playing $1.50 SnGs. They're either making a training video or are broke and want to keep playing, I suspect the latter.

You guys are so right... I found myself playing cash games when I'm not in the mood, when I would just rather play freeroll mtt or just watch ept live ... My eyes were closed and now I see . Thank you guys for your patience and will to tell me what is right thing to do,
you could just let me drown in and then no play at all...

good luck guys and thank you

BronzeStar
Were you hoping to be able to play the Chromestar freerolls? That's a nice bonus - guess you could always deposit for the time being, to access them that way ... so you don't have to feel like you're missing out. That might be a nice compromise - then you could play whatever you want the rest of the month

Thanks Tweedle for the info on IMO....also played last month 2NL and had 150 VPP's ensure your bankroll can cope with the variance but easy to accumulate there at lowest stakes.
