Hi, villain is playing 29/29/14 over just 17 hands and AF=5.

Should I have folded this hand postflop ? I called because I was getting odds and flushes wasn't a huge part of his range.

On the river I guess that was the only way i thought of winning the hand lol.

Cheers!

Like it!

The defend preflop is close against an unknown but probably ok given the playability of your hand, your position, the odds and what may be a wider than usual 3-betting range in 6-max games BB vs BU, even at these stakes.

I prefer to make these kinds of defends with some better feel or picture of the villain I'm playing - especially his postflop tendencies as they may give you an idea of whether or not a given line you play (like you do here) can be profitable.

Calling turn is probably more +EV if you are willing to bluff certain rivers like this one (you can definitely represent a good chunk of valuecombos now).
