Hello grofica5ra,

You are eligible for the Bankroll Builder promotion, good job!

NB: Bookmark this page so that you'll find it easily in the future

First Step

Watch the following video and pay special attention to the tips on retrieving and saving your hand history from PokerStars. This will be important for the rest of your promotional journey.

After watching this please play some PLAY MONEY FULL-RING (9-Handed) tables at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

Then when you have that done please have a go at the Poker Basic Course and pass the quiz at the end of the course.

So you have 3 steps to do to begin with and when you have all 3 done we will award you with your first bonus.

1) Watch the 'Getting Started' video
2) Post a 'PLAY MONEY' hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer
3) Pass the Poker Basic course.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 steps completed.

Best of Luck!

Hi grofica5ra,

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Cheers!

Hi grofica5ra!

With 22 in the SB, I get a min-raise, 3 calls and a short-stack shove in front of me. Since all of the other stacks are over 15X the bet (which means that the stacks are deep enough to setmine), I'm going to call here and hope to see the flop.

I now get two more large stack shoves and with this much action, while I do have a pair, it's nowhere near strong enough to call 3 shoves with and due to this, I need to muck. If I had AA, KK or QQ then I can call here, but everything else is too weak and needs to be mucked.

Poker is a game of patience and I need to wait until I'm going to be ahead, not to be putting my chips in when I'm behind.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.

Brilliant!

You've done all 3 tasks and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job! To answer your question, if you deposit at any stage during the promo, you would receive the balance of the total Bankroll Builder bonus of $8 shortly afterwards, plus any other deposit bonus for which you are eligible would also apply.

Ok, now here's Step Two:

Use your first buy-in to only play the 1/2 cent real money FULL RING tables on PokerStars. Do not play any other type of game other than this. Post one hand that you had difficulty with here in this thread using the hand replayer and we will analyze it for you.

Please watch the following video and answer the question below.

List 3 reasons why a player may want to make a big bet?

Then study the Cash Game course and once your happy have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

So you have 3 things to do to earn your next bonus.

1) Play the 1/2 cent Real Money tables and post an interesting hand here in the Forum using the Hand Replayer.
2) Watch the Bet Sizing video and answer the question below it.
3) Study and pass the Cash Game quiz.

Let us know as soon as you have all 3 tasks complete and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Hello! I am interested is this a good shove, because everybody folded except limper, and i think he is very weak player ( he doesnt have a full stack, and i think a limp is weakness in this spot, and also thinked that he would not fold to my 3 bett...if he would call my shove i think i have a good equity also, so i think this was not so bad play...of course vs that guy, not somebody else...???

Watched bet sizing video so my answers for your question is : 1.To bluff people off decent hands
2.To protect against strong draws
3.To put a lot of pressure on opponents.

Quiz to go and here I am

Hi,

Hand Analysis

Sitting on such a deep stack depth facing with one player to our left that almost has an equal stack I'd just open for the standard amount of 3x the big blind +1bb for each limper, going all in will generate to many folds and on this depth we really do not want to be playing for stack spre-flop. Generally a limpering range is perceived as a weak range of holdings and our hand will play farily well versus a limp. Going all in will generate more folds than calls and the times we do get called the majority of the time we will be beat by a better range of Ax or pocket pairs AA KK QQ JJ TT 99.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

Hello grofica5ra,

Fantastic!

Your second Bankroll Builder bonus is on it's way to you, great job so far.

Watch this video that will help you on the cash game tables

There are three ways in which you can earn your next bonus.

1) Earn 10 VPPs AFTER receiving your 2nd bonus and you will automatically be credited with your 3rd bonus. Let us know if you hit that target
2) If you lose your 2nd bonus at the tables please post the hands where you lost the money with here in this thread. As soon as you post the losing hands we will advise on the next step.
3) If you make a first deposit at PokerStars you will automatically be awarded your remaining bonuses from the Bankroll Builder promotion.

Best of luck to you at the tables and we are here to help you should you have any questions.

Hi grofica5ra,

That's great news! Once those VPPs filter through to our admin systems your third Bankroll Builder bonus will be processed and it will be in your account shortly thereafter!

Now to earn your fourth and final bonus, keep applying the principles you have learned at the same tables as before until you have earned a further 10 VPPs, counting from when you receive this latest bonus.

If you lose your bankroll, please post the losing hand(s) for analysis. As ever, if you have any questions we are here for you.
