17/14, f3b 67, AF 1.5/1/2 over 101 hands
Was betting the turn as bad as I'm thinking it was?
I feared that some stubborn overs might bluff if I check and I won't know where I'm at.
What's the best line here? b/f flop and get to sd as cheap as possible? or maybe x/c flop to let him bluff?

Preflop your hand is a good candidate for a bluff 3-bet, but the question is whether or not villain is the ideal target for it. He seems fairly tight and didn't fold too much to 3-bets yet, try to always look at the number of instances and also at his steal % if you can. He also opens 3x OTB which may indicate that his range might be a little more solid than others who open less.

I think our hand will be a 1-2 street hand against small pairs only so I would either check turn and bet river if he checks back or take your line and check/fold river.
