the preflop call was meh, flop was dry enough to try and get cute thinking someone would take a stab but what unfolded was special lol. with my raise i'm pretty much turning my ace face up, when the reraise come i was preying he didn't have 22 and was confident my kicker was better than any A he could have but for him to make the play with 88 is quite frankly bemusing. i didn't know weather to laugh or cry at the outcome by far the worst bad beat i have ever taken given that not only was it bad luck but horrible play from the villain that should have been avoided. oh well onwards and upwards

Unlucky mate !
The ones that hurt the most are ones like this that would put you deep in a MTT.
