As I mentioned at the end of my 100 game $1.50 SNG challenge/stake, I was going to continue playing those, but also to take shots at the $3.50 level.

So far things have been going remarkably well, possibly because I have only been playing 2 tables at a time.

So far since 2013/12/30:

842031340 #3 $5.68 http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-h...171_A5A17C7D79

842031373 #1 $14.23 http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-h...181_48BCBF2852

I think I will forget about the $1.50 games while I manage to keep up such good results.

I will continue to post results here

Awesome start I'm going to continue my $3.50 challenge but I'm going to move mine up to 1000 games rather than 100 as I have a lot of spare time coming up.

Only done 12 at the moment and I'm in profit aswell so thats awesome we are both in profit.

I start next Tuesday so no doubt I will see you at the table once or twice.

I don't believe I have seen you at the tables yet, but I'll keep an eye out for you. If you are going to play 1000 games I won't be able to avoid you Good luck!

I am eager too to amass a proper number of games so that I have meaningful stats, but I have reduced my tables to 2 or 3 so a 1000 games would take forever for me.

The Tourney EV stat is based on the percentage of the prize pool you win or lose when you're all in. (A bit like ICM). Since you pretty much have to win flips to make it to the money, and the player you knock out loses all his equity on the final hand, if you're making money in tourneys, you'll generally always be above EV. If you're losing money, it's because you're losing races at crucial times, so you'll be below EV. e.g. If you get AA cracked and bust on the bubble, then you just lost a significant amount of equity in the prize pool (indeed you lose your entire buyin), because you were a big favourite. By contrast, if you win a flip, then the loser is way below EV (he's busto), whereas you lock up some money for certain, and that amount of money is usually more than "expected", since you rarely have 100% equity in a pot when you go all in.

I have been busy so haven't been playing I'm playing 4 at a time now but will be playing 6-9 when I get my new laptop. I will be dual screening with my 32inch TV getting as many going as possible and I've just reached 20 games and we are both well in profit.

I am up $56, you are beating me but I still have 80 games to bring it back.

Still going well then

I find with these if you are prepared to shove on the bubble people will fold nice hands, and you can win a lot just off the blinds.

I'm going to try 8 tabling these see how it goes!
