Hi, villain is unknown.

Should we c-bet this board ?
If not, do we just check fold then ?

I find myself getting played back a lot on this flops because they always put you on AK lol.

These are always close and probably depend on how tight/loose you view the opponent. The looser he seems pre the more likely your equity against his range will actually be good enough to continue by either shoving or even check/calling on a good turn like that. The 9 probably doesn't hit him very often but me may try to represent it with hands like JT/76s and against pairs you still have a decent chunk of outs.
