Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Great Job!

You passed the Cash Game Quiz and know you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundementals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

Step Three

Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.

Once you post your hand one of our Trainers will analyze it for you so please post and intersestig hand where you have questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents?

Yeah, sorry

You need to have posted a Cash Game hand only to get you're next bonus

However, if you make a deposit at any stage this will also release your remaining bonuses

Cheers,

Hi again,

The STT quiz is not a part of this promotion

You need to have posted a Cash Game hand only to get you're next bonus.

However, if you make a deposit at any stage this will also release your remaining bonuses

Cheers,

=) come on, i become now a "chrome star" so we both know how many cash games i have played to be a chrome star ( lost more than 30$ =) ) but i always forget to make a video when i play =), anyway thank you and i understand that for the countination of this promotion it is a "must" to make a cash game video so it is my fault, thanks for your help.

What about STT quiz promotion prize. İ know it is not a part of this promotion but why i didn't get it ? Who should i ask for it? Thank you again for your help.

NVM : " Beginning players that have not yet made a first-time deposit will receive tournament tickets when they make their first deposit " , i got my answer thank you =).

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Hi Cancan,

My first piece of advice would be to start your poker learning by playing the lowest stakes - i.e. $0.01/$0.02 games. Once you can beat the lower games, the you can start to work your way up the levels. Don't try to run before you can walk!

The other problem with playing at too high a limit without the proper bankroll is that you will often be forced to make uncomfortable decisions for your entire stack. That is why it is important to follow good bankroll management guidelines.

Because of your short stack, I would probably just fold this hand preflop. In general, you need the effective stack to be 15x larger than the raise to profitably setmine (call with the intention of flopping a set). You are the effective stack and it is only 12.5x your stack. Furthermore, there are still a lot of people to act who might yet raise and force you to go all in or fold.

Once it's checked to you on the flop, I don't think your bet is going to get folds often enough to make it profitable. People will call with a wide array of any pair, flush draw, straight draw, maybe even overcards. There are only three cards that a guaranteed to be good for you on the turn, the three remaining non-club 4s. Just check and hope to see a free turn.

I think you know the turn shove is not good. Chances are at least on of your opponents was calling with a flush draw, which just got there. Furthermore you've only got third pair which is often going to be drawing dead. Again, just check and give up on the hand.

Playing when you're tired and especially playing games too high for your bankroll is a recipe for disaster. Even the best players in the world started at the very lowest limits and worked their way up slowly.
