Well done karetie and sorry for the delay in replying.

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you

think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there

and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Great Job karetie!

You passed the Cash Game Quiz and so you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundamentals of playing poker.

We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

Step Three

Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and, using the Hand Replayer, post a hand here in this thread that you

have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer

only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.

Once you post your hand one of our Trainers will analyse it for you so please post an interesting hand where you have

questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents?

Did I take the correct line here? - Thu Feb 06, 2014, 04:05 PM

This should be my hand replayed hand.

In this hand I chose to raise with KJ of spades after there had been a limper by clicking the pot button. After getting a caller the flop came 5,5,2. I decided to bet half the pot and was called. I didn't think he had a five but wasn't sure if my king high would be winning as he had made some weird calls with draws and over cards before. On the turn it came a king and I had .54 cents into a pot of .49 cents I think. I decided to go all in, hoping he didn't have a 5 and had a pocket pair smaller than my kings which could call. Did I make any mistakes here?

Hi karetie,

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

This is normally done within 24 hours (but can sometimes take a little longer, especially at weekends) and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Cheers!

Hi karetie ,

I like the line you took preflop and the sizing against a limper + caller. I also like cbetting this flop with two overs and a backdoor flush on a board that does not hit anyone well. OTT, I think we can sometimes check back to induce lighter calls OTR or a bluff bet to which we can call. Because of the stack size it would make it hard for villain to call the turn without a K or a hand that beats us. So sometimes we can check back he turn because its less likely we get outdrawn by the river.
