Looking at the villain's stats I decide just to call the 4-bet instead of shoving
Do you think that was a correct play ?

I can't imagine anybody 4Betting so big intending to fold to a shove, so I think getting all in preflop would be the best play.

Again, just check/raise on the flop, don't mess around - there's no need to slowplay when your opponent is just as eager to get the money in as you are!

Turned out he was playing A5s.
But as you said, probably he would not have folded to a shove preflop or on the flop
