i read this article but i dont understand the formula You have 32,000 left which is 3.2 times 10,000. So your chips are worth about 3.2*$140 = $448.

Therefore:

Your total EV = [guaranteed prize for making it to the money] + [worth of your stack]
= $300 + $448 = $748
i dont understand where the numbers come from. why 3.2 times 10,000.
apreciatoe your help guys.

Hi scarface763!

10k chips is the starting stack for the tourney. You have 32k, so you have 3.2X the starting stack. That's where the 3.2 comes from.
