Sorry to ask but I'm playing in open league at the moment and not doing to bad, but I see a lot of players with +20 on them and I'm just wondering how or what it means, thanks.

It means they earned over 20 VPPs last month and are eligible to the higher prize. For example if the prize column says $0.50/$2.50 then they are on the read to win $2.50 if they have the 20+ icon. Otherwise only $0.50

Similarly in the premier league the threshold between low and high prizes is 150 VPPs so if you think you might make it into the PL you should consider trying to earn 150VPPs before the end of the month.
