Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Hi,

In poker, it's hard to make strong hands where you are pretty sure that you have the best hand. When you get into these situations, it is crucial to try and win as much money as possible as these winnings will make up a huge amount of your winnings.

I think you played preflop and the flop great, 54o is too weak to do anything else other than see some cards for cheap.

Everybody else's passive play has let you hit trips on the turn which is great for you! I think you can be fairly sure for now that you have the best hand, although this might change if you get some heavy action, as somebody could have a better 4, or less likely, a slowplayed full house. I think raising is the right play, particularly as people could have picked up a flush draw or had a straight draw that they aren't yet willing to fold. Therefore I think you should raise bigger than you did, probably to something like $0.07. This will still be cheap enough for people to call with their draws but will allow you to make a significantly larger bet on the river.

When you get min 3Bet, it's tough to say what to do, he might be playing a monster, he might just think you're messing around. Here I think you should either call, or move all in, rather than continue with this min-raising battle. However I prefer the call, as you may easily not have the best hand here.

On the river, your opponent continue with his silly min betting. I think he's likely to call with many worse hands here, so I would raise bigger (something like $0.15-$0.20) intending to fold if he moved all in, as if he moves all in against your strong action, he's never bluffing and he's never value betting with a worse hand than yours.

In summary, I like your decisions, but feel that you should have bet bigger and you might have won all his chips.

No, you need to attend the next scheduled session, if you just register you won't appear on our system, you must actually attend the entire session to show up on the system
