Well done zuja_brija!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Great job zuja_brija!

You passed the Cash Game Quiz and so you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundamentals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

Step Three

Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and, using the Hand Replayer, post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.

Once you post your hand one of our Trainers will analyse it for you so please post an interesting hand where you have questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents?

Hi zuja_brija,

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this normally within the next 24 hours (but can sometimes take a little longer, especially at weekends) and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Hi zuja_brija!

Firstly, please play only full ring (9 man) tables for the remainder of the bankroll builder promotion. Playing anything else, such as 6-max here, will make you ineligible for any remaining buyins. Full ring is better to learn on as well.

Did you have any read on the villain? Calling with A10s should be ok even without a read, but you need to be careful not to overplay your hand if you flop an ace. The villain will often have a better kicker than yours.

On the flop, I strongly suggest checking here. You are out of position and don't have much hope of imporving. Building the pot will cost you in the long run. If you are going to bet, I suggest betting half the pot. Minbetting will almost never get anyone to fold and you do not have a made hand.

On the turn you pick up a flush draw. Again, if you are going to bet, make it at least half the pot, perhaps 70%. Depending on the villain, checking and betting can both be profitable.

You make your flush on the river. Firstly, note that you were very lucky to get running clubs on the turn and river. Here you want to get called. Therefore, I suggest betting smaller, between half pot and pot sized. Betting more will too often get most hands to fold which means you earn less than you could have. Lucky for you the villain overplayed his top pair hand.

Remember, stick to full ring from now on.
