well ive found my niche!
playing very low tables 1/2c
but ive made 14dollars profit in 3 days.
yes i know its a mini bankroll but im happy.
this is how i play.
( no doubt it will get critisism but thats ok )

my rules:
1: pockets come round again so dont go crazy playing em,
u can always fold if your not sure.

2:bring 1.10 to the table no more ( mostly u will get a BB first hand so fold it if its junk)

3 dont go all in unless u got the nuts. yes sounds basic but one memorable hand i played i had pockets 10's and flopped the other 2 to give me quads.
opponent hit A high flush and got smashed.
so be careful and if u go all in stick to the second rule.
u cant lose what u dont bring.

4 only play uber hands, fold preflop all junk.
5 sit out and cash out when u get 80c - 1.40 profit over ur buy-in. ( then take ur 1.10 buying and start over)

ok yes basic play and no doubt some will disagree!
thanks player

Great to see that you've started off well!

What you say is a bit general and vague, but you seem to be on the right track. At 1c/2c, you can afford to play basic ABC poker, only playing your strong hands and then extracting maximum value from them, as there will be plenty of people there that will pay you off.

I personally always like to sit with at least 100BB (in this case $2) at the tables, this allows me to take full advantage of the many terrible players that play at those stakes.

Just going all-in with the nuts is too simplistic - there will be many opportunities where you very likely have the best hand so should be willing to risk your stack, even if you lose some of the time, the times you win will make it profitable in the long run.

Good luck at the tables!

Hi playerpkoker,

Welcome to PokerSchoolOnline!

I have to agree with the points spand made, I know I certainly pick on players who aren't playing a full 100 BB stack, but looks like you're headed in the right direction. Good luck Zooming it up!
