Feeling pretty good today. Been working on my bet raising and taking classes and feel they are really helping. So first just want to thank poker stars for having all this media available to learn.
Got some good mojo today and the poker gods are shinning some light my way. I have been playing .01/.02 tables doing the bankroll builder. Finally did all the steps and got my bank roll up to 20 bucks. Thought i would step it up doing .02/.05. Got these two hands the first eight hands sitting down at a .02/.05 table. See you at the tables.
Ohh and if i did not play these hands right please let me know

Third Hand

Eighth Hand

Probably the two most important words in poker: Bankroll management.

Lovely table, especially the 9x raise/fold made me chuckle.

What is your thought process behind overbetting the pot on both streets in the AA hand, especially since the flop was relatively dry?

I'm not sure I like the 3bet sizing with the KK hand, it was rather big even considering the sizing from the UTG player, I personally would've made it about $1.38 ( if I decided to 3bet at all, I think there's a case to be made for calling in this specific scenario aswell ) which would give you an effective SPR of 1 if he decides to flatcall and just get it in regardless of the flop, maybe get away on a flop with an ace if I had a read on villain 4 that warrants it.

I think its fine for a recreational player to play without amazing bankroll management

When i sat down i checked the history and seemed like a lot of people were playing really loose in general. So saw an opportunity. You are right that i should have only 3 bet with KK. I was getting a little greedy and thought since people were loose they might call. I got AKd maybe around hand 20 and got the flush and got up to 14 bucks and left the table. So it was a great table. Thanks for the reply.

And the Villain that raised when i had the king was making a lot of big raises preflop with out anyone entering pots.
