As well as online I play poker every Monday night at my local pub. It's usually 8 to 10 players, starting with 3000 chips, blinds 25/50 going up every 15 minutes. When blinds go up to 100/200 we have a short break and everyone gets another 3000 chips - the idea being that those who've already gone out get another chance. Yeah it's friendly poker and you do get lots of callers, especially at the lower blinds.

Online I play a TAG style and do ok but I find this approach hard to play on Monday night as everyone knows I play this way and so usually just fold when I raise.

As we are deep stacked, should I just try to see a lot more pots and should I be bluffing more than I do. I should say that the other players are mixed, some good including my son who I really do want to beat more in the future!

Any suggestions welcome

My local league is 4k start, 20 min levels (but no add-on). I'm playing the same TAG style that I do online and do fine in it. With a shorter structure, it'll always take winning flips to win, but I do not want to be too loose and leak off chips (a number in my league try this and they'll always end up toward the bottom).

If everyone is folding to your raises... then start stealing until they play back when you're in position.

HI .Well obv if everyone has sussed your game its time to change,It would seem an ideal chance to be steal some nice pots untill they realize your doing so.But always remember poer is about adjusting your game to the table so keep adjusting as need be I play a live pub league on a Tues night 12k or 35k Starting (double stack gets a bonus 1K) and unlimited rebuys for first TWO hours then a addon ! so its madness first 2 hours the Buyin is $30/50 addon $20 (all NZ $ strange price structure I know lol) we get up to 30 players and not unusual for half of them to rebuy some more than once some multiple times !!! we often get a 1st prize around $1000 .00 NZ and normally pay to final table 9 spots unless less than 20 players when we pay 6 spots.
I dont rebuy and just pick my spots .But I do get some great spots to steal as the weak and looser players are convinced Ive never bluffed in my life Ive made solid $ here and much prefer it to the horrible casino we have in Auckland.Always a nice crowd.
Good Luck Have Fun
