Well done WiCD!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Hihi,

I finish the course, and prepare to take the CashGameQuiz, but the page said "You passed another quiz recently. Please wait and try again later."

I remembered I passed the "Multiple Table Tourneys" quiz days before the Eye-Of-the-Trainer Tourney ( 31st Mar), but i think that is not so recently...

Would you please tell me, when it will be allowed to take the Cash Game Quiz? Thank you!

Great job WiCD!

You passed the Cash Game Quiz and so you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundamentals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

Step Three

Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and, using the Hand Replayer, post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.

Once you post your hand one of our Trainers will analyse it for you so please post an interesting hand where you have questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents?

Hi,

So soon, i found TWO hands for you, and sorry for increasing your workload, lol

Players on this table seem to be a little looser than the Basic Course guides.

1st One:
Although, it was a wet flop, i want to make a check-raise or 3-bets all-in, to see if he/she had a set.

and finally, he/she made his/her trips

2nd:

couples of hands later, the same opponent,...

OMG, that would be the worst bet i have ever made, last betting round.
I was distracted, and a little fear of a slow play of a made-set, but at the moment i writing this post, i found that it seemed to have flush draws in the flop, therefor, a made-set usually will be protected instead of slow-play.

and the reason for the calls:
Post-flop:
The opponent didn't make a strong bet, maybe he just had a draw of a missed flop, but donk-bet, i have a draw too, 4 sixes + 2 fives, although outs of fives were weak then, but if the BB called, i would had a acceptable pot odds.
Turn:
The 7 did not enhance the hand of opponent's but mine, 4 outs to make a fullhouse, 4 outs to staight, 16% to win with that, a little lower than the pot odds, but i thought the rank are a little low, he may hold high card with draw, a pocket pair may beat him.
River:
Nightmare for him, but I made it mine

Ok, maybe these are nice words I made for the winning, I'm very eager for your analysis, Thank you!

Hi WiCD,

Thank you for posting these hands for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at them for you.

He will do this normally within the next 24 hours (but can sometimes take a little longer, especially at weekends).

Cheers!

Hi WiCD,

I will be your Hand Analyzer for this post
Hand#1: We should be 3betting preflop here for value. Raise to 0.20$ (3x + 1bb for being OOP) Unlucky result!

Hand#2: We can raise here to 0.08$ that way if we miss the flop we can continuation bet on some flops and expect to win the hand when they fold even when we miss hitting a set. As played, this is a very wet flop and we are drawing to a gutshot with the bottom end of the straight, I would fold to a bigger bet size OTF but given the villain bets less than half pot we can call once but I am not happy about it because we will fold to all his turn bets. Lucky river

i agree with you very much of the strategy in these hands.
especially in hand #2 that, im OTB and i knew the CO is a little loose, and he limped in, i should try to steal the pot, or raise for value! and then, even the c-bet would not scare him off, but it would build a good pot odds for the river card!
