Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.
Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Great Job!
You passed the Cash Game Quiz and know you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundementals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

Step Three

Please play a 0.01/0.02 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and using the Hand Replayer post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.
Once you post your hand one of our Trainer will analyze it for you so please post an interestig hand where you have questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents?

villain5 is a fish, hand before we stacked pf all in ( QJo vs KK ), and I have no info agains villain4.
Should I maybe raise 5-6bb pf instead of 4x because of the fish and because I m OOP ?
Flop is standard or should I again bet more caus there is a FD ?
on the turn I protect my hand again from the FD and bet for value agains some Jx , 9x..
rivere I think is a good card for me, he can have no sets in his range cause he would raise on turn or on a river caus 2 FDs, so I decided to C/C his river bet cause maybe he could bet some missed FDs and even Jx and 9x..is that a standart play on the river too ?

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.
He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Hi!

Judging by the comments you made and the way you played the hand, it's clear that you've already progressed very well in your poker education so far.

I think your preflop sizing is fine. Against V5 I'd probably play quite exploitably and bet bigger if I had a stronger hand, because he likely won't pay too much attention to the size we make it. However in general I recommend keeping your sizing consistent.

There are quite a few possible draws out here but villain can also have made plenty of worse made hands e.g. Jx, 9x, and pocket pairs might not be too scared of this flop, so I think a bet of about 2/3 pot like you did is best to try extract value from the worse made hands as well as his draws.

This is the only play I disagree with. I still think there are a bunch of worse hands that villain could call a smallish river bet with, so I would opt for a bet/fold line rather than a check/call line. The added benefit of bet/folding is that it also works as a kind of blocking bet, where you can set your own price and hopefully discourage villain from betting big and forcing us into an awkward call.

Good luck in your poker journey!

yea, I see now that the B/F line is clearly better here then C/C line..
we can make him call our river bet with weaker Jx, 9x and some PP.. and if we check, he could check back with those hand and we would miss an oportuniti to colect some extra $..

I think that the line of C/C is good here if we have some notes and history on villain that he is capable of doing a play on the river
