Guy is 21/17. doesn't fold to cbets, after flatting and then cold calling my 3bet, i put him on 99,TT,JJ. or some random 9x,8x. What do you think of shove on the river ? Too thin ?

Hmmmm close spot I guess. SB (21/17) doesn't look like he's going to give you three streets with an overpair on that board. I can see the villain having anything from 55-99, seems strange that they check the river back to you, unless they had 77. Having said that I see the villain only stacking off OTR with a full house or a straight here.

21/17 won't be stacking off with TT or JJ OTR.

I don't think this a 3 street value hand on this board.

I would x turn and value bet river if he checks back, or x and call a turn bet and fold river if he shoves.

This board is a terrible runout for your hand, I agree with the others that three streets of value is too optimistic here.

Like you allude to in your opening post, villain is really pocket-pair heavy when he flats the initial raise and then the large squeeze. He's got a lot of sets/7x, but also some worse overpairs than you.

Therefore I like to CBet flop, check turn and call a less than half-pot size bet or if he checks, then bet 1/3 pot for value. I wouldn't expect villain to exploit us by bluffing us too often as we have boats/quads in our range that we might play like this.
