I would like to take part in the bankroll builder promotion as I have not yet deposited and i am trying to increase my experience in the game before committing to a bigger size deposit and playing higher stakes.

Brilliant!

You've passed the basic test and you'll get your first bonus in the next 24 hours, good job!

Step Two

The Poker Basics test was easy right? Well, there's a lot more to learn on the road to becoming a profitable poker player.

Now study the Cash Game course and once you think you have it mastered have a go at attempting the quiz. Don't rush through the course, there's a lot of content there and the quiz is tricky so spend some time on this.

Let us know as soon as you have passed the Cash Game Quiz and we will award you with your next buy-in.

Best of Luck!

Great Job!

You passed the Cash Game Quiz and so you've shown that you have a great understanding of the fundamentals of playing poker. We have now credited your account with your 2nd bonus.

Step Three

Please play a 1/2 cent Real Money table at PokerStars and, using the Hand Replayer, post a hand here in this thread that you have questions about.

Here is a video on how to use the hand replayer.

NB: You must post a Cash Game hand only, tournament hands do not count for this promotion. You must use the Hand Replayer only to post your hand, we cannot accept hands posted in any other way.

Once you post your hand one of our Trainers will analyse it for you so please post an interesting hand where you have questions. Give as much information about the hand as possible, for example, had you any reads on your opponents?

I had villain 4 marked as a loose and relatively passive player. What I'm wondering is should i be continuation betting this flop? Does it fold out too much of his range?

Thank you for posting this hand for review and I have asked one of the Hand Analysers to take a look at it for you.

He will do this within the next 24 hours and once it's been analysed I will advise on the next step.

Hi,

Hand Analysis

Two card flush combos are going to account for such a small portion of just about every players overall range, as they are difficult to come by. Given our reads on this villain of being loose/passive, there would actually be alot of merit in checking behind with the intentions of delay conitiuation betting the turn and/or to allow the villain to turn some back door equity to which we can bet 3/4 pot for pure value, let's say another club peeled on the turn, there are going to be many combos of X | X | X | (16 combos of each holding) etc.. that may be willing to chase. Or another purpose of the delay cbet is to open up their stabbing range, but players of that dynamic usually only bet with the nuts or strong holdings with great show down value and call with all mediocre holdings... This spot is surely a tough dilemma as to what the right line is, but given our reads on them and plausible hand range combos, a delay cbet will have the most merit.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
CannonLee

I attended a live training session. I attended the carnival of tournament special by the Langolier which started at 1:00 WET on the 15/04/14. My third bonus didn't get credited to my account and i got an e-mail from pokerstars saying it wasn't possible to credit the money to my account at that time so if you could possibly try and credit to my account again it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi The_Maestro3!

If it didn't go, you'll need to contact support@pokerschoolonline.com and they will be able to help. The mods aren't given a player's details, so we wouldn't know why or be able to help.
