Take part in PlaySCOOP and challenge for your share of millions in Play Money chips!

PlaySCOOP is a new Play Money version of the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). It’s your chance to experience the thrill of a major poker tournament, and play for your share of millions and millions of chips! The schedule includes 45 different events from May 4-18, covering all your favourite games.
Just like the real SCOOP series, PlaySCOOP has multiple buy-in levels to cater for players with different bankrolls. Each event has a High and Low Play Money buy-in, with some tourneys having an entry fee of just 5,000 chips.

How to take part in PlaySCOOP

Use your Play Money chips to register directly for any of the 45 scheduled events (see below). You’ll find them listed in the PokerStars client under ‘Tourney’ > ‘Freeroll’.
Need more Play Money chips? You can purchase more from the main menu by clicking ‘Requests’ > ‘Buy Play Money Chips…’. We recommend the $99.99 package of 75M chips, but prices start at just $1.99. See here for more on how to buy chips.

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
