Anyone got advice here. SPR on flop was tiny. Didn't see a set here. 4 way 3 bet pot. This chump only had 8-1 or so implied odds I know you can call slightly lower odds multiway but surely villains call was a disaster. Or am i mistaken?

Villain's pre-flop call is bad, and you're always going broke on that flop, but why did you c-bet so BIG? With such a low SPR, all the money will get in the middle eventually even if you bet less than half pot. I might even check the flop (planning to shove over a bet), so that someone else takes a stab at it. Betting so big gives UTG and BUT easy folds of hands like 99/77/AQ/QJ that might have taken a stab if you check.

Yeah , I bet far too big , didn't I. The method was something like this. I realised the SPR was so small
and the pot so big and in haste, i thought, finish this now! Winning pots by folding others out is 100% EV!!

I find this funny now because I have just quoted Beluga Whale to a poster about the 2 reasons for betting. On this hand, my bet was for neither.
