Hi - in the training it says that 'a Seven and a Two of different suits' are the worst hole cards in Hold'em becuase you can't use them to make a straight or a flush. But if the community cards come up with 3,4,5,6 then surely that's a straight. What am I missing in this explanantion!?

Hi 4Rich4Poor!

27o is the worst starting hand, as there is no combination of 3 cards when combined with the hole cards, that can make a straight. To get a straight, I'd need to use 4 board cards... which means that I can't use both hole cards in the hand, as my hand is the best 5 cards.

Hope this helps and good luck at the tables.
