Hi all , as a member here for some time now ,I have participated in PSO and have a few concerns as of the status of this great site, My concerns is in recent weeks ,I have noticed a dramatic reduction in training Vid's and also have noticed that there is not many posts or replies as to subjects spoken of on topics
Guess what i want to know ,is PSO looking into a new direction for the site, and if there is a change for the site ,is PSO going to inform the members as to there course of action??????

Not sure if any others have had the same questions or thoughts or is it just me!!!!!!!!!

Personal thoughts on the matter are that PSO doesn't see the point in competing with the commercial training sites. The vast majority of content is beginner standard content with the odd bit of intermediate and advanced.

I think the general direction is to get players good enough so that they stick around long enough for the rake to eat them up rather than losing quickly but not good enough to become net withdrawing players. If people want that level of content they pay for it.

Hello RiverFlat,

PokerSchoolOnline never sits still, it is constantly changing and evolving. There is a lot of exciting new developments and projects in the pipeline and they will be announced in due course when the time is right.

We also welcome members ideas and suggestions and you should send them to ideas@mypokerschoolonline.com

Please remember that the forum is only a small part of the overall traffic here at PSO, and we see that a lot of members visit to read what's going on but might not necessarily take the time to make a post.

If you've further questions please post them here and I'll do my best to answer them as best I can.

Cheers,
Raiser

Both PSO and PokerStars seem like they maybe prefer to limit their $ invested in generating new customers to promos that pay for themselves?

Like with the live training classes with the freebuy tickets, the cost is offset by the rebuys that some people get?

And the milestone hands promo is so popular, it generates extra rake it seems? Same with the Golden SNG Promo?

On the other hand, they cut out the SCOOP re-load bonus, and haven't had a zoom promo since January. And the non-ticket live training classes have been reduced - maybe they feel like the link between cost and profit aren't so clear in those instances?

It makes for kind of a funny promo though if most of the extra people who are signing up for Live Training primarily to get the freebuy tickets aren't planning on playing $27 SCOOP tourneys, even if they win the $3.30 ticket in the freebuy?

Ahh ... just some random thoughts ... not really sure where I'm going with them ...

Anyways, have to go grind ...

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
