It's $22 APPT ACOP Freeze-out Satellite , 10mins blind level. It's early stage. 37 seats and 290 left

What should I do here Raise or call to play against short stack and by calling I might invite some other guy into the pot as it's four way

PS: Reason why I called preflop coz of the stats of the UTG guy which is opposite of nit

Hi adi,

I would fold preflop, I don't like calling in these positions... even though the opener is loose, he's UTG, we have a call from UTG+1, and 5 players still to act behind us, 3 of which have potential squeeze shove stacks.

On the flop I call, the board is pretty benign so no real need to raise the bettor off of more marginal hands he's making some silly stab with.

I raised I don't know why maybe I wanted to get the money in with the donk-bettor on the flop before hits the turn then this happened and I didn't know what to do now

I raised coz it wass 4 way & slowplaying top pair is vulnerable. Esp after I call baby bet of 250, someone else will join the party with Ace high or pocket pair.

Maybe, but I'm not concerned about low equity hands peeling more so than I am about overplaying a hand strength that is somewhat marginal for a multi-way pot.

Do you think after I made the raising mistake I should fold to shove now even though it's clear that I am most probably.

It's like I have 34% equity and my pot odds are 23%. Can you tell me if it's right to call now after I raised?

DenBAXA collected 4415 from pot
adikumar2010 finished the tournament in 289th place
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 4415 | Rake 0
Board [ ]
Seat 1: lowdown.6969 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 2: adikumar2010 showed [ ] and lost with two pair, Jacks and Fives
Seat 3: Helljagger folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 4: mauricio1953 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 5: $n1p3N (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 6: Maks Katok (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 7: DerTrue23 (big blind) folded on the Flop
Seat 8: DenBAXA showed [ ] and won (4415) with two pair, Aces and Fives
Seat 9: Dubol490 folded on the Flop

Now even if he has AA, I have 22.02% hand equity and pot odds are 23%.

Make this decision before you raise, or you will keep putting yourself in these questionable spots.

Good job working through the math.

I wasn't planning to fold to anyone after raising but the mistake was I shouldn't have called this hand preflop in the 1st place.

But the bigger mistake is I should have smooth called the flop bet and ofcourse AA will check raise and then I can fold my hand after losing 250 chips.
